$200 for a snow cone machine?!?! Yes. It’s worth it.

So. I live in a place called “satan’s taint”. You may have heard of it. Sometimes people refer to it as “Phoenix Arizona”. The one thing everyone thinks here at some point during the summer is “how the hell, and why the hell did people settle here prior to AC”. I digress. Snow cones. Anyways. Based on the above I went snow cone machine hunting. First I got this Hawaiian ice shaved ice machine - it was $60 which I thought was pretty expensive. Also turned out to be total trash. Not only did you have to freeze a puck to make it work but the ice wasn’t shaved it was just like broken pieces. Not fluffy. I returned it. Then after around 300th of if my kids harassing me about getting a different one - I came across the Snowie. Not on Amazon’s product search (which in hindsight kinda pisses me off) but via Google. Which I then found the listing on Amazon and bought it. First of all - this thing uses regular ice. Not a puck. Just get that sh’t out of your freezer dispenser, pour it in and move on. Second (and this is also a warning) - It is aggressive. AGGRESSIVE. You press that lid down and it’s like a blender with ball bearings. Your neighbors will hear it. Not only is it loud but the ice comes FLYING out. And it can make quite a mess - but who cares, it’s water. The quality of fluffy, light, perfect snow this thing makes is honestly enough to put my favorite place - Bahama Buck’s - to shame. It’s impressive.

Snow Cone Satisfaction

This snow cone maker has lasted 3 years now, and it’s still going strong. We bought in 2022 and are enjoying snow cones in the summer of 2025. The quality of this product is exceptional. It’s even held up through a move across the county! The ice is shaved perfectly each time. We use ice out of our freezer and get a great snow cone each time we shave it. It’s a little loud but I think that’s to be expected. My tween kids use this machine by themselves. We use different types of cups to catch the ice, and there is generally a little that spills out over. However, it’s just ice so we don’t worry. We store it in our hallway closet machine with the rest of our kitchen appliances. The lid doesn’t close shut (when not in use) but that’s part of the design. You close the lid to start making the snow cones. Highly recommend this machine for finely shave ice!

I LOVE the Little Snowie!!

I had been looking/researching ice machines for ages. Yep, Ice Machines, as I crunch on ice most of the day. Finally by sheer accident I stumbled on the Little Snowie. I read reviews. Then I re-read reviews. It sounded good, but what if I got a lemon? Then I saw where the company gives a full year warranty. So I finally bite the bullet & let me tell you... I love, love, LOVE my Little Snowie! For ice. Not for snow cones, but for ice (well, the grandkids get snow cones). The ice comes out perfectly fluffy, just like snow. When I first got it I remembered I had read in the reviews that a cup about 3½ inches at the top should work nicely. I had 16oz foam cups & they're exactly 3½ inches & they work perfectly. I can get the cup firmly inside the clear dome shaper & virtually no ice escapes. Also, I can put in a 16oz cup of ice & it comes out as a full 16oz (or slightly more) of fluffy snow. And clean up is a breeze. As far as drips, I found that I can put a 12oz foam bowl under the dome & it holds by itself. Perfect. I actually make 7 cups of ice at a time (16oz each) & put them in the freezer. If you've been debating on this machine.. BUY IT!!! It's worth every penny!! I am so addicted & absolutely love my Little Snowie!!

LET IT SNOW!!!!!

It’s definitely the REAL DEAL!!! Just got mine today!! Soon as it came, I cleaned it, poured in ice, and it gave me the PERFECT snow like texture!! Absolutely love it!! I’ve been searching for MONTHS looking for this type of texture!! It’s SNOW!! I’m an ice eater lol Also selling snowballs to the kids at my apartment complex!! HAPPY ABOUT MY VERY OWN SNOW CONE MACHINE

I finally got smart and bought my very own Little Snowie Max Snow Cone Machine. During the warmer days of the year you could always find me at the local snow cone shop, or one of those trucks that sell the shaved ice cones with flavored syrup. And I would pay $6.00-$7.00 for a snow cone. Then I saw this fancy little Snowie Max Snow Cone Machine here on Amazon and Bam! I ordered it! You know, for the price of the Little Snowie if you just make a mere 25-30 snow cones you would pay for it. And the ice is just like snow, too. It takes regular ice cubes which you place in the top of the machine, then position your cup under the clear cover and press the start button. The clear round cover over the shoot is what you use to form the round top of the cone when the ice comes out into your cup. What could be more simple?? This machine is just a smaller design of the one that the professionals use in their trucks and shops. The shaved ice really IS just like snow and you can experiment and create unlimited flavors. You can buy the pre-made syrups at the grocery, or make your own simple syrup and add the flavor to it. And not just cones, you can make slushes, too. And my grandkids love this machine. Want to make your kids popular with their friends? Buy them one of these Little Snowie machines and invite their friends over! The machine is very durable and comes with a warranty.

Does exactly what’s it’s supposed to do .. snow cones in no time at all..it’s light weight and you can move it around easily..perfect size for countertops..it is some what noisy but it’s doable..I truly enjoy my snow cone maker

So easy and good quality! The reviews speak truth. 🥰 I bought torani syrup to compliment the perfect snow. (I added extra food coloring to the yellow and red syrups to get this nice rainbow effect! )
